Postponement
As most of you would know by now, in the wake of the recent COVID-19 virus outbreak, the team behind the 12d Technical Forum made the tough decision to postpone what was to be the 2020 event, to 1-3 August 2021.
In making this decision, we pledged our commitment to supporting the health and well-being of our staff, 12d users, and the wider community.
The 12d Technical Forum has been postponed, but all other details remain the same. The event will still be held in Brisbane, Australia at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, and we’re keeping the wonderful Plaza Level.
What to do
For those who’ve already registered and paid for the 2020 event, we’re keeping the 2020 rate for you if you transfer your registration straight to the 2021 event! If you’d like to take up this option, you don’t need to do anything; we’ll take care of it automatically for you.
If you’d prefer to receive a refund for now and re-register for 2021 at a later date, feel free to contact us and we’ll process that for you as soon as we can (there may be some delays as we’re not able to staff the office full-time at the moment).
Likewise, if you’d already booked your accommodation through OzAccom, we’re currently liaising with them to transfer those bookings to 2021.
12d Innovation Awards
Please note the 2020 Innovation Awards will now be postponed to align with the new Technical Forum dates. Entries are already open for the 2021 Innovation Awards, with a closing date of 30th April 2021. All other details will remain the same, and if you were already working on your 2020 entry, we’d love to receive it whenever you’re ready!
For those who’ve already entered, we’ll transfer your entries to 2021 automatically, but feel free to send us any new information that might supplement your entry in the meantime! Remember, you can enter as many times as you like, so if you have a new innovation between now and April 2021, you can keep submitting entries!
