Led by Robert Graham, an accomplished water resources professional and 12d Solutions developer with more than four decades of industry experience, this course provides an in-depth exploration of 2D stormwater and flood modelling using 12d Model 15. Designed around urban stormwater environments, the course covers advanced hydraulic and hydrologic modelling techniques, from setting up and reviewing 2D analyses to interpreting flood extents, depths, velocities and time-based results. Participants will also learn practical approaches to diagnosing model errors, managing hydraulic connectivity, refining boundary conditions, linking 1D and 2D components, and improving model quality and performance.
The course is ideal for engineers, designers and modellers looking to strengthen their practical skills in 1D/2D stormwater modelling and flood analysis. Through a structured series of detailed lessons, participants will develop the knowledge to build, manage and analyse comprehensive urban stormwater models, including catchments, drainage networks, culverts, inlets, basins and floodplain areas.
