The new Super Alignment Part Editor brings a cleaner, more modern interface to creating and editing alignment geometry in 12d Model.
In this demonstration, Hanh Cao from 12d Solutions walks through the updated editor, showing how to create a three-point arc and add a free line between fixed arcs. He also explores the editor’s tools for managing individual parts, including editing properties, toggling visibility and deleting parts directly from the interface.
The video also introduces the command box, which allows users to create geometry by entering supported commands, such as generating a floating line with a specified length.
These examples offer a first look at the new editor’s layout and workflow, and how its tools can be used when working with Super Alignments.
